Monks is searching for a Spanish + English-speaking Designer to help us with design for a variety of experiences as part of our digital client service team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You’ll work as part of a dedicated client team to steer projects to the apex of digital aesthetics.
  • You’ll make sure the designs are in line with the visual guidelines, project’s objectives and client expectations.
  • You’ll help to translate the concept and briefing into a thought-out design.
  • You’ll help to create style proposals, sketches and mockups to kickstart the design for new pages and features.
  • You will present your work and rationalize every decision to both, internal and client teams.
  • You will help your design director and a design lead with ensuring the highest quality of work that your team will produce.
  • As part of Monks, you are part of the most awesome creative production company on the planet, operating as ‘one office in eleven locations’ with an incredible in-house team of 900+ Monks worldwide.

Requirements

  • You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in digital advertising or production, with at least a year in senior capacity.
  • You speak Spanish and English at an advanced or fluent level.
  • As showcased in your portfolio, you have broad experience with digital design and your solutions are bursting with creative out of the box thinking, innovative interactions & beautiful presentation.
  • Your Photoshop / Sketch / Figma skills are so slick, they look photoshopped; and you also know how to organize your files, layers and folders.
  • While you know all about the good, the bad and the ugly of user interface design, you understand that design ultimately is about moving people instead of pixels.
  • You have experience shaping all stages of the design process, from creating innovative concepts with state of the art interactions, to finalizing layouts and rolling out pixel perfect designs across markets and formats.
  • In addition to visual prowess, you have strong social and professional skills and feel confident in tackling high-end projects in tag team with colleagues and clients.
