Role Summary

Join Associated Bank as a Trust Operations Specialist and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our Trust client accounts. You’ll reconcile complex financial transactions, manage income entitlements, and support a variety of Trust operations functions that directly impact client satisfaction and organizational success. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in trust and investment operations within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Reconcile and determine entitlement for interest, dividends, maturities, and principal payments to ensure timely and accurate client account credits.

  • Process loan and mortgage setups, payments, and reporting within Trust and Core Bank systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

  • Manage certificate of deposit purchases, redemptions, and renewals, maintaining rate and maturity information for Trust clients.

  • Oversee proxy material distribution and voting processes, ensuring accurate reporting and client entitlements.

  • Monitor foreign dividend elections and tax documentation to secure optimal withholding rates and recover reclaims.

  • Ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of money market fund sweeps and daily cash movements.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with depositories, custodians, or internal systems to maintain balanced and accurate records.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support smooth operations and exceptional client service.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2 years of experience in the financial industry or related field

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance

  • 4 years of experience in trust operations, banking, or investment administration
