Job Description:

The Treasury Accountant is a key member of the Treasury Accounting and Finance Team, responsible for ensuring high-quality, reliable, and timely registration of invoices and execution of payments for the Group and its subsidiaries, in accordance with Group policies and principles. The role supports the integrity of treasury accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, FX operations, and financial reporting, and acts as a liaison between Treasury, Finance, and other business units. The incumbent reports to the Treasury Controller and is based in Tallinn, Estonia.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank account reconciliations for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

  • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts related to treasury activities.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing treasury-related documentation and responding to inquiries.

  • Generate and present financial reports upon request, including cash flow statements, FX reports, and management reports.

  • Manage central invoice mailboxes and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

  • Calculate and allocate interest for trading entities and general banking costs to desks (monthly before MR).

  • Prepare and deliver interest and capital allocation reports for management.

  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies between CB and Crystal systems.

  • Perform monthly reclassification of negative balances in cash accounts.

  • Review and validate iScala bookings for cost accounts (bank fees, interest, RCF interest) and balance sheet accounts per dimensions.

  • Analyze consolidated and company-level cash flow statements.

  • Prepare external and internal FX MTM (Mark-to-Market) reports.

  • Prepare FX desk and corporate FX management reports.

  • Prepare daily FX P&L forecast reports and analyze FX exposures and risks.

  • Participate in FX IT developments and interface improvements between trading, treasury, finance, and accounting systems.

  • Provide backup for team members during temporary absences (vacation, sickness, business trips, etc.).

  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within Treasury Accounting.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or treasury roles, preferably within a multinational environment.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP and iScala is a plus.

  • Prior involvement in audit processes and financial reporting.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in bank reconciliations, FX operations, and financial reporting.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Familiarity with treasury management systems and process automation.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Estonian and/or Russian. Other languages are also welcome.
