You’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations — analyzing trends, managing schedules, coordinating procurement, and assisting with personnel and project logistics.   • Enter and manage invoices, budget requests, purchase orders, and P-Card transactions, ensuring accurate records and timely processing
  • Create, assign, and track tasks and work orders in Cartegraph; generate monthly reports and maintain inventories
  • Coordinate employee training and certifications, track license expirations, and ensure compliance with required courses
  • Manage uniforms, safety apparel, and equipment, including streetlights, fire extinguisher inspections, and departmental assets
  • Monitor vendor activity, shipments, and departmental programs; maintain and update spreadsheets, reports, and internal communications
  • Assist with facilities requests and ensure smooth departmental operations. Provide general office support, including scanning, filing, data entry, mail distribution, and event coordination
  • Enters labor, materials and equipment used on work orders in work management system once work is completed

Work Hours:  Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field AND three (3) years of job-related experience

  • -OR- Bachelor's degree in an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field AND one year of job-related experience

  • -OR- Five (5) years of professional-related experience can be substituted for the degree at management's discretion

  • A valid Florida Driver's License at the time of hire

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

  • Expereince working with; Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Physical Demands:

  • May occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds

Subject to Passing Substance Screening:  This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.  An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five (5) years

Starting Pay Range: $25.70 - $27.50/hour, based on your experience
