Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management Enter Inventory transactions into PGE Inventory Management System; initiates and enters cycle count data, research exceptions and update inventory records; manage and maintain reserves of material in inventory system.
Enter daily maintenance work order tickets, incoming lists and prepare monthly Inventory Open Supply Report for Transformer Shop manager and shop foreman.
Purchase a variety of supplies, services, and equipment; initiate complex purchase requisitions.
Coordinate with Sourcing and Contracts to ensure on-time delivery of inventory materials.
Create Junk Lists for disposal of obsolete/damaged transformers, maintain records of disposal of used oil and transformers.
Receiving Receive and process new transformers and other material in Oracle and Coupa. Manage and upload transformer ASN files from manufactures into Maximo for Transformer Shop and Storerooms. Research discrepancies in data, communicate with manufactures and internal customers to understand and correct inventory information. Manage and maintain manufacturer assigned company number log, issue to manufacturers as needed.

Administrative Serve as office administrator for Transformer Shop; answer phones, email and in-person inquiries regarding transformers and the shop processes; maintain office supplies, provide security access, direct deliveries, perform research for internal customers.
Develop and maintain administrative and programmatic procedures for position; serves as a subject matter expert to other employees. Train and oversee work of less experienced colleagues and temporary employees; serve as resource for day-to-day questions and problem solving in administrative arena.
Coordinate with Information Technology and other staff in maintaining interfaces for various systems, enter data into various systems; provide expertise to other team members regarding functional user interface procedures and processes for software applications and systems.
Maintain manuals and office records in a manner that supports ready access.
Initiate requests for facility repairs, greet and provide vendor access to complete the repair. Track the repair form completion, helping vendor and personnel resolve related issues.
Shipping Prepare daily Oracle picking reports for shop workers, process daily transformer transfers to storerooms using Maximo & Oracle Inventory system. Perform “out of the box” transfer requests in both systems, as needed. Purchase requisition.
Purchasing Analyzes requisitions for accuracy; responds to questions about the status of purchase orders and materials.
Oversees budget and purchases consumable items; researches and analyzes costs of consumable product options; makes purchasing decisions.
Supports procurement roles in inventory management.
Tool and Equipment Management Purchases, selects, stores, calibrates, and tests specialty tools and equipment.
Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Preferred: eight or more years in warehouse/material handling or a related field.

Intermediate Knowledge of clerical /administrative procedures, requirements and techniques involved in conducting the work of an organization.

Intermediate ability to use analytical skills to set and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external customers, including GIS Department (Mapping), Environmental Services, Supply Chain and Material Management, Facilities, Storerooms, Line departments, manufactures, suppliers, shipping, and trucking services.

Compensation Range:
$29.78 - $49.64Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
