Your role and work environment:
The Transformation Lead at ING Hubs Spain is a senior leadership role tasked with driving and executing the transformation agenda within the newly established organization. The role focuses on operational excellence, innovation, and aligning strategies with ING’s business goals. The Transformation Lead manages change initiatives, operational design, resilience, and fosters collaboration across teams to support ING's growth and customer-centric approach. Initially, the role reports to the Head of ING Hubs Spain and later to the COO. The position oversees strategic functions including Change, Consulting, Service Management, Operational Design, Reporting, and Facilities Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should possess over 15 years of senior operations and transformation experience, holding a Master’s degree or equivalent academic qualification. Essential skills include operations strategy, innovation, governance, and a strong understanding of IT to effectively challenge and support transformation programs. Leadership experience in coordinating diverse expert teams, stakeholder management, prioritization, product development, and project management is critical. A strong customer orientation towards both internal colleagues and external stakeholders is emphasized.
The role involves managing complex business escalations related to recruitment and ways of working, advising on strategic and structural solutions. The Transformation Lead must navigate different organizational structures to influence and leverage resources effectively, ensuring strong collaboration and stakeholder relationships.
Applying Agile and Lean principles, the Transformation Lead identifies improvement areas in processes, technology, and organization. They work closely with Process Experts and Agile coaches to enable collaboration between Domain Process Leads and Circle Leads, monitor project impacts on operations, and implement improvements while ensuring understanding among involved parties.
