Base Location - South East area travelling to various sites (3 sites in Kent). Based at Ockendon, Medebridge Road, Grays, Essex, RM16 5TZ

What you’ll be doing;
Assist the aftercare team with the environmental monitoring and management of water, gas & leachate on closed and open landfill sites
Compile reports and data to be submitted to the compliance team in accordance with environment agency and permit requirements
Carry out a wide range of monitoring, maintenance and repairs of landfill infrastructure
Identify, analyse and correct problems as and when they arise and carry out projects relevant to the management of the sites
The successful applicant will then go on a programme to help you to develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to succeed in your career. As well as this, you’ll also gain qualifications as as a Level 4 Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practitioner.
With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices you’ll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.
What we're looking for;
A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) including Maths & English
A full clean UK Driving Licence
Our sites are distanced throughout the South and East of England. Successful candidates must enjoy travelling and working outdoors
We're looking for someone that enjoys working outside all year round, and has an interest in the environment.
