Reporting to the European Brand Director, the position of The Kingdom Experience and Fitting Manager will be based at The Kingdom at the Grove, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire and is responsible for leading the fitting team and overseeing all guest experience, fitting and retail operations, ensuring a consistent, highly premium experience for a wide range of clients including the public, media guests, Tour players, PGA Professionals, and corporate VIPs. The position oversees the day-to-day scheduling and execution of club fittings, events, and company activities, while maintaining service excellence and leveraging advanced technologies such as GEARS, TaylorMade MFE, Quintic, Foresight, and Trackman. Through these efforts, the role is responsible for delivering the world renowned The Kingdom experience and supporting the pinnacle of TaylorMade’s experiential Pyramid-of-Influence.
What you'll be doing...
- Oversees the premium consumer journey and fitting experience for all guests, representing The Kingdom facility as a highly advanced, technical and premium performance center for all TaylorMade visitors.
- Manages The Kingdom staff to ensure a seamless experience takes place between arrival and departure for all guests.
- Drives The Kingdom performance using the established business metrics for commercial targets and The Kingdom’s mission and experience KPI’s.
- Holds budget management responsibility for The Kingdom.
- Holds the role of resident expert on equipment and fitting and trains fellow Kingdom fitting representatives, retail staff and other TaylorMade employees.
- Travels to develop fitting knowledge, ensuring that The Kingdom standards of fitting experience and club building are upheld in line with other locations.
- Responsibility for identifying elements in the fitting process to continuously improve and standardise to make the fitting experience more consistent.
- Responsible for all physical inventory on site, communicating inventory requirements to maintain the service needs of the Kingdom .
- Provides expert fitting for the complete range of skill levels, from Tour athletes to average golfers, of all ages and gender.
- Maintains a high level of working knowledge of the company’s myFittingEXP, GEARS, Trackman, GC Quad, Quintic and other fitting systems and uses that expertise in the fitting of players to enhance The Kingdom experience.
- Maintains a high level of understanding of industry equipment trends with a particular focus on key components relating to the building of golf clubs and putters and their impact on fitting and performance.
- Delivers a high level of Club Building, with appropriate training, and adjustments to golf equipment.
- Works collaboratively with The Grove team to ensure a seamless and professional experience for guests.
- If required, features in and helps create custom fitting video content together with TaylorMade Content Team.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven leadership experience in a high-performance environment with the ability to manage team responsibilities independently.
- Substantial experience and deep expertise of golf club fitting with expert knowledge of golf products and swing mechanics.
- Ability to build strong relationships and confidently engage with a wide range of guests, including Tour players, VIPs and senior corporate stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of fitting technologies and systems (Trackman, GC Quad, GEARS) with advanced knowledge of golf terminology.
- Proactive self-starter with strong collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- PGA Qualification preferred, with substantial industry experience and high level of golf proficiency.
- Proficiency using computer systems such as excel, with experience of reporting and database management.
