Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Testing Center of Excellence as an entry-level testing engineer team member. In this role, you will support the adoption of test automation and help create performance testing frameworks aimed at improving efficiency and quality across various projects.

As part of the team, you will learn to identify potential issues in the testing process and contribute to making improvements that align with our business goals. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in test automation and performance testing while actively participating in major projects. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that our testing efforts lead to successful project outcomes.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Design, implement and execute automated tests for applications, products or portfolios conforming to enterprise test strategy

  • Review, maintain and optimize repositories of automated tests 

  • Review data pool for automated tests and help prepare/procure test data

  • Use utilities and tools to support test management, functional testing, automation and test data management

  • Coordinate with functional testers to review and clarify functional tests being automated

  • Review automation requests and provide feedback 

  • Provide input to overall test lifecycle and test automation efforts

  • Execute automated tests, log and retest defects, document and communicate test results

  • Assist with daily defect triage meetings during automated test execution

  • Collaborate with developers, fellow testers and project teams

  • Participate in scrum ceremonies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Solution Engineer Assc (SG5):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. 

Experience: No additional experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Solution Engineer (SG6):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. 

Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Programming experience with at least one of the following:  Java, Python, C, C++, C#, Java Script, Ruby

  • The following testing tools: JIRA/Xray, Eggplant, Sauce Labs, GitHub, ReadyAPI and Apache JMeter

  • Model-based testing

  • Performance test automation

  • Developing SQL queries

  • SharePoint and PowerBI knowledge

Solution Engineer (SG 6): $72,380 - $90,474

$61,647.00-77,057.50 USD
