As a Test Conductor – Level 2 or Level 3 located in Redondo Beach, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
Work Schedule/Shift:
Availability for 1st shift starting at 5 AM or 2nd shift starting at 2 PM. Must be flexible to rotate between day and night shifts as required.
Travel:
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. (Baltimore, Virginia, Florida)
In this job, you will:
Lead on-site and off-site fabrication and integration activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Mentor and coach junior technicians and engineers to foster skill development and professional growth.
Demonstrate advanced communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating with technicians, various engineering disciplines, and program leadership to meet project objectives.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.
Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, SCI access, and complete a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination
Extensive knowledge of MLI materials.
Expert at interpreting MLI templates, drawings, E6 documentation, and various related process documents.
Advanced MLI specific troubleshooting skills.
Expertise in complex TIP fabrication and modification, including a deep understanding of non-standard materials.
Extensive launch support/final build experience
Ability to identify and lead initiatives for process improvements
Advanced integration skills to include deployable and various types of moving hardware

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
