The Marketing & Communications Support Assistant provides administrative and production support to the GBMC Marketing and Philanthropy team. This role assists with data entry, assembly of communications and event materials, digital content compilation, and basic video editing. This role allows individuals to gain exposure to healthcare marketing and communications in a professional, mission-driven environment. The Temporary Marketing Support Assistant role works 12 hours to 16 hours per week.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree or enrollment in a relevant program (e.g., communications, marketing, multimedia) preferred.
Experience
Experience in an office, nonprofit, or volunteer setting is helpful but not required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox)
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., ClipChamp, Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, or Canva) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in healthcare communications or nonprofit marketing is encouraged

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry to support marketing and philanthropy initiatives
- Assemble folders, mailings, and event materials as needed
- Compile photos and content for use in slideshows and digital presentations
- Support basic video editing under supervision
- Assist in organizing and maintaining digital content archives
- Perform other administrative or creative support tasks as assigned

Pay Range
$16.74 - $23.21
Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
