Responsibilities
•    Evaluate the industry standards and regulatory mandates to understand regulatory requirements applicable to IT and ensure alignment with internal frameworks
•    Assist in development of technology and information security governing documents, including policies, standards, and procedures that align with regulatory and operational requirements. 
•    Support the RCSA program and various technology process owners to identify risk within technology and information security, document controls, and evaluate control design/operating effectiveness. This includes:

  • Leading discussions and walkthroughs with stakeholders to understand technology processes, risks, and controls.
  • Developing and executing test plans to assess the design and effectiveness of controls.
  • Documenting controls testing workpapers with detail and quality to reflect testing performed over controls.
  • Documentation and communication of control findings to stakeholders as applicable.
  • Assistance with defining remediation plans to address process/control gaps. 


•    Support various stakeholders within technology on the identification, documentation of issue details and root cause analysis, priority assessment, resolution planning, issue status tracking and reporting, and issue validation and closure activities.
•    Facilitate the development, management, and reporting of metrics to measure operational performance and monitor risks for technology and information security
•    Coordinate and facilitate the evidence collection and response preparation for internal audits, external assessments, and regulatory examinations for IT
 

Qualifications
•    Minimum 5 years in technology and information security governance, risk, or compliance; Experience in banking and financial services strongly preferred
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
•    Knowledge of financial rules and regulations.
•    Strong knowledge of technology and industry frameworks (i.e., NIST, CIS)
•    Strong knowledge of technology, cyber security, data management concepts and risks
•    Strong knowledge of technology and cyber security controls; Experience in control testing strongly preferred
•    Industry certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP) is a plus
•    Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and corporate governance.
•    Strong ability to identify and analyze risk areas, risk profiles, and risk data to comprehensively assess risk and raise it to appropriate levels.
•    Strong formal business writing skills to create procedures, manuals, and management reports.
•    Strong ability to interact, negotiate and influence at all levels throughout the organization.
•    Strong attention to detail in a deadline-focused environment.
•    Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to manage competing priorities on concurrent large, complex projects, initiatives and 
•    Deliverables.
•    Strong technical proficiency in the use of MS Office products for reporting, data analytics, and presentations.
•    Experience with GRC tools (i.e. Archer)
•    Experience with business intelligence tools (i.e. PowerBI) to analyze and visualize data is strongly preferred
