Technical Support Advisor – Verisure UK (Newcastle)

Salary - £24,500 annually increasing to £26,500 with performance related bonus' 

Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, shift pattern between 9am – 8pm Monday-Sunday (5 days on 2 days off)

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Technical Support Advisor to join our growing team and support our Verisure colleagues out in the field. If you love getting to the root of a problem and enjoy helping others succeed, this role could be perfect for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Alarm & App Testing and Troubleshooting – Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot alarm systems and related apps to ensure they perform flawlessly. You’ll need a keen eye for detail and clear communication skills.
  • Provide Advanced Technical Support – Resolve complex technical issues involving our alarm security systems, Arlo cameras, and proprietary software via phone, web chat, and email.
  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service – Offer top-quality support to our Sales Security Consultants and Field Technicians, building strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Incident Logging & Data Management – Accurately record incidents, communications, and test outcomes to help identify recurring faults and inform new solutions.

  • Multitasking Mastery – You can handle multiple queries at once while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

  • Fast & Accurate Typing – You’re comfortable logging key information and solutions in real time.

  • Technically Savvy – You have a genuine interest in both hardware and software, and you’re quick to grasp how our bespoke security systems work.

  • Clear Communicator & Problem Solver – You can explain complex issues simply, document them clearly, and take a proactive approach to finding solutions.

  • Collaborative Team Player – You thrive in a team environment, sharing ideas and supporting colleagues to achieve success together.
