DUTIES: Provide technical leadership to a team responsible for performing Release Management activities and alignment for strategic programs; deploy applications throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC); plan software releases and future roadmaps; administer software deployment in cloud computing environments, using AWS; develop Python scripts to automate software deployment; work in GitOps and DevOps environments, including building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Concourse, performing version management using GitHub, and coordinating software releases using Cloudwatch, GitHub or Datadog; as an Agile Certified Practitioner, control projects and detect product issues or defects; coordinate among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that Releases are within the scope, on schedule, with guidance from senior staff member(s); serve as the program lead for Release Management and projects of greater than average complexity and scope; plan, develop and deliver new technical programs; act as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment; and guide and mentor junior level employees. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience, of which at least three (3) years must be as an individual contributor responsible for the following: deploying applications throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC); planning software releases and future roadmaps; administering software deployment in cloud computing environments, using AWS; developing Python scripts to automate software deployment; and working in GitOps and DevOps environments, including building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Concourse, performing version management using GitHub, and coordinating software releases using GitHub, Cloudwatch, or Datadog. Of the five years of experience, at least two (2) years must include leading engineering teams performing all of the above duties, either as a direct supervisor or technical leader.
