The Tech Product Manager is instrumental in guiding the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of key OWG Tech initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy, commitments, and goals.

This role follows best practices, standards, and guidelines in both product and initiative management. As an internal resource, the Tech Product Manager supports initiatives and teams across Oliver Wyman. While the core focus is consulting, this role resides in the Technology organization.

We will count on you to:

  • Drive and execute OWG Tech initiatives aligned with departmental or organizational strategy

  • Develop detailed initiative plans with clear objectives, deliverables, and communication strategies

  • Manage initiative resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring objectives are successfully met

  • Partner closely with OWG Tech managers to define and clarify roles and expectations on each initiative

  • Identify critical paths, risks, and dependencies; track and actively facilitate their mitigation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations effectively

  • Maintain comprehensive initiative documentation and ensure timely reporting of initiative status using agreed tools

  • Lead initiative closure meetings and produce detailed closure reports highlighting lessons learned

  • Lead AI product management, including defining AI model requirements, ethical considerations, compliance, cross-functional coordination, and data-driven performance monitoring

  • Integrate AI capabilities into existing products and workflows to enhance business value

  • Manage the AI lifecycle from data strategy and model development through deployment and ongoing monitoring

  • Drive M&A integration initiatives focused on technology and product rationalization, harmonization, and synergies realization

  • Coordinate across diverse teams during M&A transactions to ensure smooth onboarding and alignment of acquired technology products and platforms

  • Identify and manage product risks, redundancies, and opportunities for innovation or cost savings within M&A contexts

  • Assist in strategic planning for post-merger product roadmaps and technology consolidation

What you need to have: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus building, with excellent written and verbal communication

  • Deep knowledge of technology initiative and product management frameworks and methodologies

  • Solid technical background in product ownership, particularly managing cloud and AI implementation initiatives in large-scale organizations

  • Expertise in budgeting, invoicing, and financial management for technology initiatives

  • Highly organized with exceptional planning, customer service orientation, and a professional demeanor

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead meetings, present effectively, and juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Over five years of experience in product and initiative management, with proven delivery in banking, financial, and technology sectors

  • Proven experience managing AI-focused products or initiatives, including proficiency in ethical AI, explainability, and regulatory requirements

  • Strong understanding of M&A processes related to technology integration and product strategy alignment

  • Ability to work across diverse stakeholders in high-pressure environments typical of M&A deals

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field

  • Scrum Master certification required
