We’re seeking an exceptional Technical Lead to join the Pricefinder Customer UX Squad. You'll be at the heart of our Agent division, building the next generation user interface that empowers real estate professionals to Prospect, Market, and Research. This is a chance to move beyond maintenance and truly lead a transformation, setting the technical standard and delivering game-changing value for our customers.
You won't just be a coder; you'll be a thought leader who collaborates with Product and Design, mentors a talented team, and ensures the health and scalability of a vital asset. Define and continuously improve the technical standards and patterns for software delivery within the squad.
Lead the team to execute on the roadmap, managing work breakdown, capacity planning, and ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery.
Provide direct line management and progressive coaching to the engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Be accountable for the system's technical health, managing the tech debt backlog, and championing engineering best practices.
Partner closely with the Product Owner and Product Designer (the 'triad') to define technical requirements and co-own the solution.
Evaluate technical feasibility, identify low-level dependencies, manage technical risks, and contribute to solution design for larger initiatives.
Step in to solve complex problems and focus on initiatives that significantly improve the team's efficiency and capabilities.
Participate in technology forums and be an ambassador for the Engineering brand, internally and externally.
Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of software engineers.
Experience successfully working in a Product, Design, and Tech leadership model.
Experience designing and implementing software solutions for high-traffic, customer-facing websites.
Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language and tech stack, with crew-specific experience in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Next.js.
Experience with a major Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and implementing modern DevOps practices and CI/CD.
Strong experience working in Agile environments and practical understanding of engineering best practices, including shift-left testing.
Familiarity with Microservices architecture, relational/non-relational databases, Cloud Design patterns, and synchronous/asynchronous integration.
Experience applying Domain Driven Design, TDD, and/or BDD in a commercial setting.
Experience with large-scale platform modernization and transformation projects.
Relevant Cloud Platform Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer/Architect).
