Job Description

As a Technical Consultant, you will work in a client-facing role for established global clientele, helping them apply Digital Twin capabilities to challenging business problems. Our work is demanding, and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. The learning curve can be steep, but our team will help you build confidence and enable you to explore areas that are interesting to you. Our focus is on helping clients extract value from cutting edge Digital Twin capabilities, not just on making the technology work. You will help design, develop, and test solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Auto & Tire, Consumer Goods, and Warehousing & Logistics.

This position can work remotely.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of simulation and virtual commissioning models
  • Represent our company in attending industry events to build awareness within the industry
  • Maintain awareness to technology and industry trends relevant to simulation and emulation and ensure the evolution of firm practices and technology usage based on observed trends
  • Manage development backlog for client engagements
  • Manage and assign junior engineers with tasks during client engagements
  • Develop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance
  • Data modeling and requirements definition mapping
  • Performing unit testing and code reviews
  • Status reporting within DevOps tools
  • DevOps development and implementation
  • Provide client support, including: troubleshooting, software upgrades, and enhancements
  • Status reporting within the team and with the clients
  • Work with diverse and cross-cultural teams
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and tool building

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel 25% of the time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience leading the implementation, validation and deployment of scalable simulation and emulation technology in an operational setting (specifically in industries of Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Auto & Tire, Consumer Goods, and Warehousing & Logistics)
  • Experience developing in any of the following Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, or related
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile or other similar methodologies
  • Experience with Emulate3D, Sim3D/Demo3D, or equivalate industrial standard simulation and emulation (virtual commissioning) software
  • Experience in conducting technical evaluations of client infrastructure (e.g., automation control, equipment automation, sensors/instrumentation) and determining methods of conduction simulation and emulation
  • Experience integrating emulation software with soft and physical controllers

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $102,400 - $153,600 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
