About the role:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Mining and Geology Systems, the Technical Analyst is responsible for delivering haulage-focused technology solutions, including the development, implementation, and sustainment of software systems (both custom-developed and commercial off-the-shelf) with a focus on haulage and road quality, using Agile approaches.
To be successful, we are looking for someone who is able to work independently and as part of a larger team to build robust, maintainable solutions through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Key responsibilities include requirements analysis, system design, specification and estimation, development of enterprise-grade applications, quality assurance, and integration between vendor systems and custom solutions. Delivering advanced technical support and ensuring long-term system reliability are critical aspects of this role. The position also involves enhancing data analytics capabilities across mining and geology systems to support data-driven products. This Calgary-based role requires occasional travel to operational sites in British Columbia.
