Your Team:
Global Business Services
For this role you will be part of the Global Business Services (GBS) team. As a member of the Global Business Services (GBS) team, you will lead initiatives across Finance and Accounting processes, collaborating with both global and local teams. Your role will involve managing assigned projects and driving impactful business outcomes.
The Finance and Data Cloud (FDAC) team is responsible for providing global support and maintenance for a suite of critical financial applications. This includes managing service requests through the ServiceNow group ensuring timely resolution of issues. The team involves coordinating/requirement gathering and delivering projects across multiple regions, implementing new modules and systems, and driving successful application rollouts. Additionally, the team provides comprehensive training to end users on application functionality, ensuring smooth adoption and optimal utilization of systems. A key responsibility is to oversee system configurations, manage enhancements, and maintain compliance with global standards while supporting business continuity and operational efficiency.
Your Role:
- Participate in gathering business requirements, facilitate communication with Technology teams, support testing efforts, and help validate solutions for deployment.
- Coordinate and support the work of Business Analysts in understanding customer needs and delivering roadmap projects and enhancements.
- Actively contribute to and help manage Finance period-end close activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Promote continuous improvement in business analysis practices, including requirement gathering, feasibility analysis, process design, and data analysis.
- Guide team members in translating business needs into effective solutions using structured process design approaches.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners to align on service expectations and delivery standards.
- Support performance and development activities for team members, including setting goals, providing feedback, and encouraging growth.
- Help manage team workload and priorities to ensure timely delivery of tasks and project milestones.
- Identify skill gaps and support ongoing learning and development opportunities for the team.
The Experience You Bring:
- 8+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Financials (AP, GL, FA) across implementation and upgrade projects.
- Proficient in end-to-end configuration of AP, GL, and FA modules in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Expertise in Fusion OTBI reporting and developing OTBI reports.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle APIs.
- Skilled in identifying business requirements and mapping them to Oracle Cloud functionality.
- Guide technical teams on data conversions, extracts, application extensions, reports, and interfaces.
- Perform gap analysis, conduct POCs, and recommend solutions or workarounds.
- Advise business stakeholders on options, risks, and impacts on related processes or systems.
- Define testing scenarios and develop test scripts.
- Create end-user documentation and training materials.
- Ability to learn new applications (Oracle and non-Oracle)
- Configure Oracle Cloud Applications to meet client requirements and document application setups.
- Analyse and troubleshoot complex system and user issues, coordinating resolution across support teams and vendors.
- Familiar with tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla.
- Experience analysing quarterly Oracle patches and creating detailed test plans for Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Experience in offshore-onsite coordination and effective handoff management.
- Share knowledge to improve implementation methodology and collaborate with technical teams throughout the SDLC.
- Consistently complete tasks efficiently and on time.
- Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts focused on roadmap projects and enhancements.
- Oversee Finance period-end close activities, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in business analysis practices, including requirement gathering, feasibility analysis, process consulting, and data analysis.
- Provide guidance to analysts in translating business requirements into effective solutions using process design disciplines.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, consultants, and senior management to define service levels.
- Oversee and support communication of business requirements to technology teams, testing efforts, and solution approvals.
- Support data initiatives by applying governance standards, validating financial data, and resolving upstream data issues.
- Coordinate and manage team workload to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Identify training and development needs, ensuring ongoing learning and achievement of team goals.
Academic requirements:
- Master/bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Computer science or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in business analysis, application design, implementation, support
- Support the maintenance of Oracle ERP Cloud Systems.
- Experience in Financial Services or Investment Management industries preferred
