Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare periodic returns (VAT, Intrastat, ESL, Income Tax, etc.) for EMEA region.
  • Liaise with 3rd party provider to ensure accurate and timely submission of periodic returns
  • Prepare the reconciliation of VAT accounts (GL monthly reconciliation)
  • Booking of VAT Settlements & VAT Clear
  • Prepare the reconciliation: Turnover vs VAT Returns
  • Support and advise other departments
  • Review annual tax provisions
  • Review and approve EIMEA legal entities quarterly TP calculation
  • Provide support for internal & external audits  
  • Support Tax Administration VAT/Intrastat inspection and queries.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Excellent data analysis skills, including significant experience in using MS Excel. Experience with SAP S/4HANA a plus
  • 1-2 years of existing VAT and/or income tax experience, either in industry or in a consulting/Big 4 environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Fluent in French and English; other European languages a plus
  • Knowledge and/or experience with tax/VAT compliance a plus
