We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Talent Acquisition Administrator. We need you to support Cancer Research UK’s talent function with the skills needed to provide administration and coordination support to the Trading Talent Acquisition team for all internal & external recruitment and related activity. Provide inbox and phone line support to the wider Talent Acquisition team.

What will I be doing?

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external recruitment enquiries, including ownership of the resourcing hotline and recruitment inbox, ensuring that all requests are dealt with correctly and promptly to ensure excellent candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Develop strong working relationships with HR and Trading colleagues to ensure the service to all customers is fully integrated and we are meeting customers’ expectations

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in the administration of trading and senior recruitment within defined SLAs, including virtual and face-to-face interview scheduling, shortlisting for entry-level roles and advert posting where support is required

  • Provide administrative support for value-add activity within Talent Acquisition, specifically within attraction

  • Provide administrative support within TA Attraction with regards to a social media calendar and advertising materials including candidate packs

  • Provide other administrative and project support to the wider Talent Acquisition team as necessary

  • Ensure equality, diversity and inclusion is celebrated and considered as part of all decisions taken

What skills are we looking for?

  • Experience of working within a fast-moving office environment, delivering to deadlines with different priorities

  • Microsoft Office skills (particularly in MS Excel)

  • Practical experience of working with and entering data into databases and ensuring high standards of data integrity and accuracy

  • Experience of working in an environment dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information

  • Strong customer service mindset, focussed on continuous improvement of service provision

  • Ability to build excellent relationships and manage multiple stakeholders

  • Highly organised and conscientious with strong prioritisation skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Calm under pressure with the ability to work at pace to meet deadlines

  • Understand the need for confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy

  • Able to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team

  • Comfortable dealing with a balance of planned activities and ad-hoc requests
