Boeing Commercial Airplanes Core Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) team is defining and re-establishing standards for Systems Engineering across current and future programs.  We are seeking Systems Engineering Technician - DOORS Admin (Mid-Level or Senior) to serve as a DOORS administrator and maintain DOORS administration guidance for BCA in Everett, Washington or Renton, Washington.  This role will directly support program leadership, integrate across cross-functional teams, and may expand to include SysML model administration (DESE / CAMEO).

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Requirement database administration, including managing access control, database setup, and maintenance.
  • Execute configuration management of requirement including package processing, baselining, traceability, and change implementation
  • Create, release, and maintain systems engineering documents, development plans, and process guidance related to requirements and DOORS administration
  • Coordinate systems engineering activities and integration with interfacing functional teams
  • Assist technical leads with schedule management and reporting metrics related to requirements
  • (Optional/As-assigned) Support SysML model administration in DESE / CAMEO, run model review processes, and apply configuration management to model artifacts

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):             

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with MS Office products
  • Experience with relational databases

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with requirements management process and/or DOORS tool
  • Experience with commercial or military airplane level integration
  • Familiarity with Boeing processes and procedures

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $65,500 - $88,500

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $78,000 - $106,000
