As Systems Engineering support at OPS Consulting, you will utilize your expertise in the science of condensed matter or solid-state physics, heterostructure quantum devices and cryogenics, and modeling & simulation of quantum inspired devices to provide analysis and technical advice/assistance to the customer. You will work closely with customer engineer and technical teams to facilitate complex technology development. Responsibilities may include:
•            Simulating small scale electrical systems
•            Simulating medium-scale behavioral systems
•            Evaluating EM noise characteristics
•            Reviewing experiment and test plan proposals
•            Analyzing and interpreting quantum system test results

Basic Qualifications:

•            Three (3) years' experience with an Intelligence Community or HPC Development Program.
•            Fifteen (15) years' experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customer
•            Ten (I0) years' experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include expertise in systems architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation and process execution and evaluation.
•            Knowledge of SIGINT mission systems.
•            Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Required Skills:

•            Experience developing technical plans for complex capability development
•            Demonstrated expertise in test plans, procedures, and test result analysis
•            Experience writing, reviewing, and presenting technical documentation at the program level
•            Experience with system design and requirements management
•            Experience overseeing technical reviews

Desired Skills:
•            Master's or PhD in Quantum Physics, Engineering, or quantum technology related discipline.
•            Experience in one or more areas of quantum technology.
•            Strong written and oral communication skills
 

Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
