Provide advanced engineering support across key application and infrastructure verticals, including Citrix, SharePoint, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Manage system administration tasks such as server configuration, deployments, patching, and infrastructure improvements.
Research, design, and document new infrastructure solutions that enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
Serve as an escalation point and Subject Matter Expert for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, assisting with issue resolution as needed.
Monitor systems and respond to alerts, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of system issues.
Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers, Network Engineers, Systems Analysts, and Systems Specialists to maintain a secure and efficient infrastructure.
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server installation, configuration, and administration.
Strong background in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Solid understanding of network troubleshooting, configuration, and general networking fundamentals.
Experience with infrastructure technologies including virtualization, complex storage systems, physical cabling, and datacenter hardware.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation.
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
Experience supporting enterprise application environments such as Citrix, SharePoint, or Exchange.
Prior experience developing automation, optimization tools, or infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting systems.
This is a Remote role.
This position requires occasional after-hours on-call support.
Travel required up to 10% (1 - 2 times per year)
