Purpose of the Role
As a part of our growth strategy, we have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer, to join our Melbourne based business. This role reports to the Systems Engineering Lead.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working, experienced Systems Engineer who has engineering experience across a range of sectors and is seeking their next challenge to develop their career in a renowned worldwide business.
The Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering all engineering activities within the engineering lifecycle in line with the program schedule. This is done through collaborating with all the engineering teams to ensure the design is matured as planned.

Key Responsibilities
Management for the requirements and validation
Preparation of monthly/quarterly technical performance measures
Provide technical support to the JP8190 SEM and Technical Director
Monitor the day-to-day engineering operations such as requirements, verification and validation
Prepare or review customer deliverables
Interact with customer stakeholders
Interact with suppler stakeholders
Performing adhoc analysis pro-actively or as directed
Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of communications and resolution of issues
Key Requirements:
≥ 2 years Engineering experience in Systems Engineering or Requirement Management
Registration on the National Engineering Register (NER) will be a huge plus
Experience writing requirements
Understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle and its implementation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups
Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
