The Opportunity

Are you passionate about solving complex problems and shaping the future of technology? As a Systems Engineer on our High Voltage Power (HVP) team, you will be at the forefront of defining and developing the next generation of power management and motor driver ICs for the automotive and industrial markets. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career engineer to grow their skills while making a significant impact. You will work alongside industry experts, turning innovative concepts into reality, and ensuring our products meet the demanding needs of our global customers.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and applications teams to define system-level requirements for new, cutting-edge HVP products.

  • Create detailed product specifications, develop evaluation plans, and design application-centric hardware (PCBs) for validation and demonstration of new ICs.

  • Take a lead role in the lab, performing hands-on evaluation and characterization of new silicon to ensure it meets performance targets and customer expectations.

  • Analyze test data, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop a deep understanding of the product's behavior in real-world applications.

  • Contribute to the creation of critical customer-facing documents, including datasheets, application notes, and user guides.

  • Provide technical support to our field applications engineers and customers as they integrate our solutions into their designs.

What You Will Need

  • Masters of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field; PhD is a plus

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience, depending on degree

  • Solid understanding of fundamental analog and digital electronic circuits (e.g., amplifiers, filters, logic).

  • Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.

  • Experience or coursework related to power electronics (e.g., DC/DC converters, LDOs, motor control, gate drivers).

  • Familiarity with PCB design and layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).

  • Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or SPICE.

  • Basic programming or scripting skills for test automation (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).

  • A natural curiosity, a passion for problem-solving, and a strong desire to learn.
