Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
Systems Administration & RF Integration - Administer Linux and Windows systems, troubleshoot issues, load software, and configure RF system networks. Understand RF and collection systems, including data flow and operational dependencies.
Network & Tactical SIGINT Operations - Apply networking expertise to support Tactical SIGINT and FORNSAT missions. Maintain and optimize data collection and transmission systems in operational environments.
Information Assurance & Cybersecurity - Support the organization's information assurance program, enforcing security policies and standards. Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage day-to-day security operations.
Security Documentation & Compliance - Prepare and review System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, and C&A packages. Ensure compliance with NISCAP and DoD RMF processes.
Configuration & Change Management -Provide configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware. Assess and manage the security impact of system changes.
Systems Engineering & Requirements Management - Develop and manage system requirements aligned with DoDAF and SOA architectures. Allocate functional requirements across hardware, software, and personnel components.
Verification, Validation & Risk Analysis - Define verification methods and evaluation criteria for systems and subsystems. Conduct risk assessments and plan verification efforts early in the development lifecycle.
Integration & Lifecycle Management - Coordinate system integration across teams, ensuring interface coverage and baseline integrity. Oversee system evolution from development through deployment and maintenance.

Security Clearance requirement:
Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.

Qualifications:
Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
