Collins Aerospace is looking for a Connect Team System Administrator candidate that has a strong record of meeting project deadlines and ability to successfully work with cross-functional teams.  This candidate will provide system administration for the eQube DaaS platform.  Core support is to provide daily support of the eQube user base, primary support for new deployments, and process improvements.

**This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico with preferred location being Santa Isabel, PR**

What YOU will do:

  • Provide IT systems administration for the eQube DaaS platform hosted on AWS Linux environment.
  • Install logging, monitoring and Anti-virus and other software as required to keep the infrastructure in compliance with Collins standards.
  • Work with Cybersecurity, GT and the ATO office as required to keep the infrastructure in compliance. 
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to automate the deployment of the eQube DaaS platform and the applications/solutions built using the platform.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and scaling needs.
  • Own tickets for infrastructure stability, network issues, scalability.
  • Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.  Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of application and operating systems (OS).

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • This position requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • This position is hybrid at a Collins Puerto Rico location.
  • Systems are operational 24x7 and require work effort beyond standard working hours.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • A deep understanding of eQube’s functionality, processes, and capabilities, particularly in relation to its integration with Product Lifecycle Management systems like Teamcenter. 
  • Prior Systems Administration experience with a low code/no code integration platform.
  • The ability to provide end-user support and effectively resolve issues.
  • Proficiency with eQube, specifically regarding application support and on-going maintenance.
  • Experience in supporting applications and users in large enterprise setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems, identify key issues and develop effective solutions. 
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
