The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (L2) to join our San Antonio Retrofit Kitting team in San Antonio, TX. The candidate will interface with several functions on a daily basis to manage Supply Chain requirements. Candidate will perform Supply Chain order execution, delivery management, and analyze data.
Position Responsibilities:
A self-starter who demonstrates a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for one's actions. Exhibits a moral, legal or mental accountability in areas of responsibility
Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities
Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment
General understanding of maintenance, modifications, retrofit processes and procedures.
Possess additional business and communication and looks for ways to provide continuous process improvement
Manage the flow and execution of Retrofit Kitting orders supporting military contracts
Work open requirements to achieve monthly On Time Delivery of kits
Coordinate the resolution of order issues pertaining to contract terms, engineering, shipping, PR/PO constraints, supplier issues
Report project status and order status to program, lead, and/or leadership
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience working in a cross-functional environment
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Communication Skills to be able to coordinate with stakeholders and partners such as Program Management, Warehousing, Delivery Management, Engineering, Supplier Management, Quality, and Contracts
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience with Aircraft Modification Programs
Experience with the Boeing Government On-Line Data (GOLD) computer system
