Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Supply Chain & Supplier Proposal Integration Specialist, located in Long Beach, CA. They will support the sustainment and development of the C-17 platform. This role bridges supply chain operations and supplier proposal management, ensuring that supplier inputs, technical proposals, and cost data are effectively integrated into program planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers, engineering, program management, and supply chain teams to evaluate, coordinate, and incorporate supplier proposals into the overall sustainment strategy. Additionally, this role supports the development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for C-17 proposal activities, providing critical data and analysis to underpin cost and schedule estimates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to facilitate the review, evaluation, and integration of supplier proposals related to sustainment and program support.
  • Coordinate supplier proposal submissions, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with program requirements.
  • Analyze supplier technical and cost proposals to support decision-making by program management and supply chain leadership.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and program teams to validate supplier capabilities, schedules, and deliverables as outlined in proposals.
  • Support supplier risk assessments and mitigation planning based on proposal content and supplier performance data.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for C-17 proposal activities by gathering supplier data, analyzing cost drivers, and ensuring alignment with program assumptions.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of supplier proposals, correspondence, BOEs, and integration activities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and communications to resolve issues and align supplier proposals with program objectives.
  • Track and report on the status of supplier proposals, BOE development, and integration milestones to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier proposal processes, BOE development, and integration workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain and supplier management functions.Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
  • 5+ years of experience working in customer service or a customer service role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in a role utilizing Boeing systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $114,750 - $153,900
