The Role

We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Supply Chain Project Lead to join our Integrated Supply Chain team at Baxter. In this role you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of network optimization and 3PL transition initiatives.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will analyze business needs, develop and implement project plans, and ensure seamless delivery of transformation milestones across Baxter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful implementation of network optimization and 3PL transition initiatives.

  • Analyse business needs, develop and execute project plans, and ensure seamless delivery of transformation milestones.

  • Act as a connector across teams, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, collaborators, and senior leadership.

  • Report to the Customer Operations Manager and collaborate closely with freight, warehousing, transport, planning leaders, and 3PL partners.

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and communications to senior leadership (SLT).

  • Maintain strong engagement and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for network optimization initiatives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and effective communication

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed to ensure flawless execution

  • Develop and implement robust processes and procedures for 3PL operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Develop and implement change management plans to reduce disruptions to customers and business operations

  • Provide regular project updates and progress reports to keep collaborators informed and involved

  • Ensure collaborators are well-informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle to achieve outstanding results.

Key requirements:

  • Proven project management experience using structured methodologies

  • Business analysis experience is mandatory

  • Strong supply chain knowledge, ideally in warehousing, logistics, or planning

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Proficiency in project management tools.

  • Tertiary degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain Management or related fields

  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis

  • Experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly with a focus on implementation and change management is desirable

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management software, such as Manhattan Associates or JDA will be beneficial

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with collaborators at all levels

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

  • APICS (Association for Supply Chain and Operations Management) certification or equivalent.
