Role Summary
As a Supply Chain Manager in the market, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth reliable and accountable supply chain execution. This includes oversight of outsourced logistics and fulfilment partners (DBS, RMS and 3PL) as well as collaboration with market supply chain contacts. The role focuses on reducing exceptions, enforcing execution standards and maintaining a stable agile and responsive supply chain that supports continuity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Execution Governance and Accountability
Drive operational performance by holding both market and outsourced providers accountable for execution against clearly defined KPIs
Monitor daily and weekly fulfilment performance ensuring process discipline and data accuracy
Coordinate root cause analysis and follow through on corrective actions
Use the weekly Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) forum as the formal platform for raising exceptions escalations and recovery plans
Ensure all stakeholders operate according to clearly defined and jointly agreed working principles that specify responsibilities timing and process ownership across the entire supply chain
Keep stakeholders informed in a structured and timely manner in the event of receipt delays, logistics disruptions, quality concerns or other events that may affect product availability or customer experience
Maintain ownership clarity and ensure all parties act in line with the agreed execution framework
Support for Market
Act as the main point of contact for escalations and exceptions from market
Facilitate cross functional resolution of order management fulfilment and inventory issues
Engage proactively with Hub supply chain to anticipate risks and track performance
Strengthen trust and transparency through consistent support and follow through
Execution Ownership for Market
Manage the end-to-end fulfilment flow from contract manufacturer to final market delivery or distributor handover
Coordinate with outsourced partners to ensure timely order processing customs clearance warehousing and transport
Track adherence to service targets and intervene early to prevent service disruptions
Escalate unresolved issues through S&OE or other governance forums
Continuous Improvement
Identify and lead improvement initiatives that drive greater speed flexibility and cost efficiency across the supply chain
Support roll out of direct shipment models to end customers or retailers where feasible
Optimise safety stock levels based on risk and opportunity profiles
Support implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), consignment stock or other initiatives where appropriate
Propose and trial new fulfilment flows and digital enhancements to improve execution and visibility
Champion process simplification and scalability as part of the operating model evolution
Cross Functional and Partner Collaboration
Align closely with Hub supply chain, procurement, commercial, finance and data analytics teams
Coordinate execution with DBS, RMS and 3PL to ensure smooth handovers and accountability
Lead performance reviews for outsourced providers and in market stakeholders with clear expectations and improvement plans
Promote standardisation and operational discipline across the supply chain
Experience and Skills
5 to 8 years of experience in operational supply chain roles with both in house and outsourced execution exposure
Demonstrated ability to manage third party relationships and internal accountability
Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
Working knowledge of ERP (such as SAP), TMS or OMS platforms and strong command of Excel
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with high attention to operational detail
Experience using structured S&OE or equivalent operational routines
