About the Role:
The Supply Chain Finance Intern will work within Inspire Brands’ Finance team, supporting financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting activities for our supply chain operations. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain finance, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to understand cost drivers, enhance efficiency, and drive value for Inspire Brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing supply chain costs, including distribution, logistics, and inventory expenses, to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data, preparing templates, and helping to update financial models.
Cost Tracking and Reporting: Track and report on key supply chain metrics, including cost of goods sold (COGS), freight, and warehousing costs, providing insights that support decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to support financial planning, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
Data Management and Visualization: Assist in organizing and visualizing financial data using tools like Excel and Power BI, creating easy-to-understand reports for leadership.
Education Qualifications:
Preferred: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in finance and supply chain operations, is detail-oriented, and has strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. The candidate should also be a strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
