Supplier Quality Senior Project Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead Supplier Quality initiatives based out of Everett or Renton, Washington.

This individual will leverage their production and quality expertise, combined with a strong understanding of fundamental Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles, to drive successful project execution. The ideal candidate will be adept at interpreting complex data, driving cross-organizational actions, and communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage supplier quality projects from initiation through successful implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and PMBOK standards

  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams to identify, analyze, and resolve supplier quality issues

  • Utilize production and quality experience to assess supplier processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Interpret and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable plans

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely resolution of supplier quality challenges and project milestones

  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly and effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders

  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and decision-making processes to maintain project momentum

  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members on best practices in project management and supplier quality

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to supplier quality

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System 

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in production, quality, industrial engineering and/or supplier quality management

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects using PMBOK principles

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence executives and cross-functional teams

  • Collaborative and driven mindset with a focus on delivering results

  • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and supplier quality tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA) is highly desirable

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus

Summary pay range: $116,450 - $157,550
