Leidos Defense System Sector is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Administrative Analyst to join our Mission Assurance team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you’ll be part of a diverse, collaborative group that creates innovative solutions for complex challenges across the defense, space, cyber, and commercial sectors.
As an SQA Administrative Analyst, you’ll support our Supplier Quality, Procurement, and Subcontracts teams, playing a key role in maintaining accurate and actionable supplier data on our Approved Supplier List (ASL). Your work will directly influence how we identify and select suppliers that deliver excellence across Leidos Defense Systems’ wide range of programs.
This is a hands-on position that blends technical, analytical, and administrative tasks—perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain and update supplier data in the ASL and Ivalua databases.
Issue, track, and upload supplier documentation, including quality surveys, counterfeit avoidance forms, certifications, and licenses.
Monitor supplier performance and compile weekly reports and statistics using Excel and other reporting tools.
Research and report on findings from GIDEP (Government-Industry Data Exchange Program) counterfeit alerts.
Interact daily with suppliers and collaborate closely with the Supplier Quality and Supply Chain teams.
Analyze unclear or complex supplier quality issues and propose solutions within existing procedures.
Suggest process improvements to enhance tracking, reporting, and supplier performance management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
4+ years of experience in a business discipline (such as Quality, Accounting, Information Systems, Management, or Finance)
2+ years acceptable with a relevant degree.
Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and efficiency.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must possess (or be eligible to obtain and maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
Resident of North Alabama or willingness to relocate to the Huntsville area.
