JOB TITLE: Supplier Management Manager – Finance COO

SALARY: £59,850 - £ 66,500

LOCATION: Edinburgh or Bristol

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Edinburgh or Bristol office.

By building strong and long-lasting relationships with suppliers, we enable the Group to stay ahead of the competition and better serve customers. Our Finance Supplier Management Centre of Excellence team is passionate about Supplier Management.

About this opportunity

This role offers an exciting chance to support the Senior Supplier Manager in the Finance COO office. It involves coordinating and delivering activities that strengthen how Group Finance, as a Support Function, manages its supplier landscape and overall risk.

You’ll focus on applying the Supplier Management Framework, treatment standards, and key controls, while helping shape the team for the future. This position provides a platform to deepen supplier and risk management expertise and collaborate with a wide range of suppliers and stakeholders across Group Finance and beyond.

Roles and responsibilities will extend to:

  • · Leading Group Finance suppliers to deliver maximum value to Lloyds Banking Group

  • · Contributing to the development and implementation of the Supplier Management third-party strategy, supporting business requirements and building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

  • · Ensuring suppliers meet expectations, deliver incremental value, and support competitive advantage aligned with strategic and operational objectives

  • · Overseeing suppliers and applying appropriate Treatment Standards

  • · Using data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement to maximise value and minimise risk

  • · Acting as a source of expertise, providing professional advice to stakeholders and colleagues

  • · Working closely with risk partners to support supplier risk management under in line with the Group’s Risk Management Framework

What you’ll need:

  • · Experience working with suppliers or third parties and delivering accountable outcomes

  • · A passion for understanding suppliers and engaging stakeholders to enhance their knowledge of Supplier Management frameworks

  • · Understanding of processes and practices relating to the Group’s Supply Chain Framework

  • · Experience of Group Sourcing

  • · Awareness of cyber, operational resilience, data privacy, technology, and cloud policies

  • · Strong organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload

  • · Ability to challenge and support senior stakeholders through effective business partnering

  • · Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and supporting delivery of solutions to inbound change
