As a part of the High Purity Quartz Operations Team the Production Supervisor role will supervise, optimize and continuously improve the production activities in the site by taking into account the local regulations, rules, permits, and the agreed cost budget.

Your Impact in This Role

As a Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise the production activities in the site and ensure the activities are performed in a safe and healthy way.
  • Ensure activities are performed according to the production schedule by aligning with the production scheduler and if needed with production manager/operations manager when problems arise and/or the production schedule cannot be met.
  • Strive to obtain the optimal balance between customer demands and specifications in relation to quality, quantity, efficiency, and cost.
  • Motivate and evaluate the team members to enhance team collaboration and support their individual development and growth.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Sibelco prioritizes safety with 'Get to Zero,' our global safety improvement program. Eliminating injuries is our goal, centered on safe plants, systems, and behaviors.
  • Previous experience operating within a mineral processing or similar work environment is preferred.
  • Experience with leading people and teams is preferred.
  • Proficient in English. Other languages are an asset
  • Knowledge of general technical regulations and safety rules
  • Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.

Salary

Salary is to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
