Family Medicine is one of the specialty clinics at Greenville Patient Care Center. This specialty clinic serves a diverse patient population ranging from infancy to geriatrics, and thrives on a strong, collaborative team culture.

This Practice Supervisor will lead a team of thirty-one made up of clinical and clerical staff, collaborating with the Manager Operations and indirectly supporting twenty providers in the practice and the Walk-In Clinic.

Scope of work

Directs the activities of team members within assigned areas and ensures the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction. Trains team members and serve as a liaison between providers, team members and operations manager in daily operations. Supports charge capture processing, standard work, process improvement and practice staffing. Manages team members’ performance and development and ensures policy adherence.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in healthcare management or other related area Required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in healthcare management or other related areas Preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant Preferred.
  • MI Practical Nurse Preferred.
  • 2 years of recent relevant supervisor experience in health care/medical practice Required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare leadership, or relevant leadership experience informal or formal Preferred.
