Summarized Purpose:

As an IT Supervisor focused on People Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will lead and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your role will be crucial in aligning team performance with organizational goals, driving employee engagement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services that support our mission.

Education/Experience:

· Total experience of 6+ years with 0-2 years of experience in leadership and people management, preferably in an IT environment.

· Bachelor’s degree in Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with a focus on management

· Demonstrated experience in team leadership, performance management, and talent development

Major Job Responsibilities:

· Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering their growth and development

· Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback

· Collaborate with HR to address employee relations issues, implement HR policies, and ensure compliance

· Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive team culture

· Manage resource allocation, workforce planning, and talent acquisition for the IT team

· Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge

· Align team goals with organizational objectives and IT strategies

· Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments

· Manage change within the team, supporting adaptability and resilience

· Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
