THE JOB:
Responsible for managing the workflow to ensure all transactions are completed accurately and within our service level agreement for all of MGM Resorts International. Provides support in the implementation of standardized policies and practices that are associated with HR Shared Services and works closely with the HRSS Director, HRSS Managers, and the Center of Excellence business partners. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Supervise daily operations of the HR Shared Services Center (HRSSC), including training new team members and conducting quality assurance audits to ensure a positive employee experience.
Collaborate with the HRSSC Manager to align staffing resources with business needs for optimal efficiency and responsiveness.
Foster a work environment focused on client service, teamwork, continuous feedback, and employee recognition.
Ensure effective hiring, onboarding, training, and succession planning aligned with the company’s diversity and inclusion goals.
Address and resolve HR issues such as attendance concerns and workplace interpersonal conflicts.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HRSSC processes and increase operational efficiency.
Support a culture of accountability and service excellence through consistent performance management and development practices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Experience in a resort or hospitality setting
Strong working knowledge of HR and/or Benefits operations within the hospitality or service industry
Familiarity with Neocase (or similar case management systems) and Workday (or similar SaaS platforms)
Understanding of HR regulations and compliance related to employment law
Bilingual proficiency, with English as a primary or secondary language
