Job Summary

    The Supervisor, Billing & Accounts Receivable supervises the accuracy and timeliness of client collections, credit evaluations, and account reconciliations, ensuring these functions are performed with the highest level of customer service. This role coordinates daily team operations supporting the Billing department strategy by mentoring individual performance, crafting an encouraged team dynamic, completing production targets, and implementing critical initiatives.

    Work Location: Dallas or San Diego - Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite

    Job Responsibilities

    • Balances workload requirements within the team in real-time to address urgent, short-term increases in production volume by maintaining close inspection of team performance metrics bandwidth to achieve production goals. Builds and implements standards within team processes to improve data entry efficiency, accuracy, and performance.
    • Develops and implements SLAs between Billing & Accounts Receivable and relevant business and corporate partners by educating and advising on strategies and objectives, holding them accountable on areas that impact client billing to meet service delivery and expectation to the client. Monitors compliance with AMN’s Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), legal, tax, and financial policies and procedures (P&Ps) by ensuring vital reviews and approvals take place.
    • Assesses team member data to provide direction and mentorship for the timely resolution of potential inaccuracies or delays. Supervises invoice adjustments, credit, and re-bill activity metrics and reports to reinforce production standards and maintain accuracy.
    • Leads response for compliance audits by generating reports, centralizing records, and compiling documentation to facilitate audit-oriented activities (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, Joint Commission).
    • Updates P&Ps based on an assessment of the current business environment, feedback from the team, and management to improve overall performance. Identifies improvement opportunities based on aggregate performance results to craft and implement progressive enterprises within and across Customer Support Service teams.
    • Leads small to medium-sized projects by planning resources and incorporating change management principles to implement changes with traction.

    Qualifications

      Education & Years of Experience

      • High School Diploma/GED plus 2-5 years of work experience

      Additional Experience

      • Prior Accounts Receivable, billing, customer service or other relevant office experience
      • Functional experience in billing and customer service
      • Collections experience
      • Supervisory experience

      Work Environment / Physical Requirements

      • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
      • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

        Pay Rate

        $66,500 - $79,000 Salary

        Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
