Production Superintendent
Where will you work: Onsite - New Wales Manufacturing Facility (3095 Highway 640 Mulberry, FL 33860)
Lead and support the management of operations to ensure it operates efficiently. Meet production, quality and cost standards. Comply with all safety/environmental regulations. Adhere to company policy and best-demonstrated practices. Ensure adequate training of area personnel. Conduct and act upon actionable items that are identified from internal and external audits such as safety, environmental and housekeeping in accordance with Safety/Environmental Performance Indices. Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Revises production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure or operating problems.
What you’ll do?

Revise production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure or operating problems
Direct and coordinate, through supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the production of company product(s), utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment
Manage and be responsible for asset readiness, including workflow requirements, to achieve short-term, defined key performance indicators (KPIs)
Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
Coordinate the defect elimination effort by identifying bad actors, root cause analysis, and working with Maintenance and Engineering on a defect elimination plan
Effectively manage controllable spend plan (e.g., accruals, budget) to ensure asset availability and operational readiness
Ensure regulatory, corporate and site safety and environmental standards are being followed by conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and housekeeping tours
Review and analyze the production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems
Support the production supervisor and serve as a liaison to maintenance management, communicating appropriate information to the appropriate level, including daily expectations and messages of routine nature
Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards
Manage performance issues when necessary
Develop and coach employees to retain and grow organizational talent
What you’ll need:
High School Diploma or GED in addition to 5+ years’ of relevant experience
OR
Associates degree in a Technical, Chemical or Engineering discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Plant Operations experience
Maximo/SAP experience
Strong motivational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and understand the interrelations within an industrial facility
Bonus if you have the following:
Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Chemical or Engineering discipline with 1+ years’ experience preferred
2+ years of previous Phosphates Operations experience in a supervisory position preferred
Experience with Excel Pivot Tables, Maximo, Primavera, PI, OIS are preferred
Deep understanding of area process and equipment preferred
Process improvement skills and the ability to teach and coach others preferred
