The Fintech Legal Team supports Agoda’s mission today to provide best-in-class payment services to our customers and Agoda’s ambition tomorrow to become the first neo-bank in the travel industry. Together with Business and Product teams at Agoda and in close collaboration with other entities of the Booking.com group, we enable business growth through Fintech innovation while ensuring compliance with global, regional and local financial services regulations. The Fintech Legal Team is composed of 8 legal counsels, 7 being based in Bangkok and 1 in Singapore.

The opportunity: 

Be part of a rapidly growing and forward-thinking group that is dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment where the team is actively developing smart tools, new ways of working, and automated solutions to enhance efficiency and performance. This internship will allow you to contribute directly to payments projects and streamline daily legal operations. You’ll learn about the intersection of law and technology and play a key role in shaping the future of legal processes within the fintech industry.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Enhance and update the way payments are done at Agoda
  • Support in analyzing regulatory frameworks to ensure legally compliant payment processes
  • Learn how business decisions are made considering regulatory requirements
  • Participate in specific cross-functional projects, collaborating with various teams across the organization
  • Gain exposure to fintech legal matters and payment operations in a dynamic, innovative environment
  • Know and work amongst a highly motivated team of professionals who do great work and have fun at the same time
  • Experience a truly international and colorful work force in our new offices at One Bangkok

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student or below and will maintain student status throughout the internship period
  • Available to participate in the internship program from 22nd of May to 31st July 2026 (10-week program)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Great English communication skills in both spoken and written form
  • Structured logical thinking and problem-solving skills and strong business acumen
  • Positive attitude and openness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment

It's great if you have: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: formulas and functions
