The following position is to join our RTX Global Government Relations team:

 

As a summer intern in RTX’s Global Government Relations department, you will support stakeholder engagements and advance strategic priorities for the world’s largest aerospace and defense company.  

 

What You Will Do 

  • Collaborate with the International Government Relations & Public Policy divisions of the department to analyze evolving geopolitical and policy developments. 
  • Attend and report on external events impacting RTX’s operations and policy objectives, such as think tank events, industry association events, and conferences. 
  • Undertake a special project to assess a policy issue’s impact on RTX business, which will be presented to GGR senior leaders at the conclusion of the program. 
  • Assist with administrative projects, such as preparing briefing materials, to support senior executives and their meetings with critical stakeholders.  
  • Closely shadow GGR analysts, with the opportunity to join meetings and assist with portfolio projects. 

 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a college degree in international relations/studies, political science, government, or a related relevant field and must not graduate prior August 2026.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing reports, memos, and presentations. 
  • Interest in U.S. domestic policy, foreign policy, national security, aerospace, defense, and/or commercial aviation.

The salary range for this role is 42,000 USD - 88,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
