Studio Assistant (fixed term contract)

What you’ll do 

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running and overall positive environment of the studio.
  • Maintain studio appearance, organisation, and functionality with pride.
  • Act as the primary contact for building management and floor captains, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Manage incoming mail, distribution, and all courier requests.
  • Oversee and replenish stationery supplies.
  • Organize and coordinate internal events, acting as the central point for presenters and setup.
  • Support internal networks and initiatives, such as "Building to Belong" and mental health allies, for event hosting and message sharing.
  • Contribute creative ideas for community and idea-sharing events.
  • Assist with internal communications to promote events across WPP campuses.
  • Provide client hospitality, including room bookings, catering requests, and welcoming guests.
  • Manage office catering, including breakfast ordering, lunch & learns, internal events, and client pitch/workshop catering.
  • Assist team members with meeting room bookings and general day-to-day queries.
  • Provide general administrative support and guidance to colleagues.

 

What you’ll need 

  • Proven organisational and logistical coordination skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and pride in your work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders (internal teams, building management, clients).
  • Experience or a strong aptitude for event planning and coordination.
  • A customer-service mindset, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
  • Initiative to contribute new ideas and improve processes.
  • Reliability and a can-do attitude to ensure smooth operations.
