YOUR MISSION

Join our team and become an integral part of Glovo's Global Logistics! We provide a dynamic and challenging environment filled with numerous opportunities for growth and development.

Support the overall strategy for courier operations to drive budget optimization and operational improvements across 22 markets. In this role, you will have high exposure to the executive leadership and will be a great opportunity for someone who is not afraid of driving changes by getting their hands dirty with good vibes.

THE JOURNEY

  • Business-level strategy: Work closely with senior executives and across operations to set and implement our strategy and drive key budgeting initiatives.
  • Strategic knowledge & insights: Develop outstanding insights on our markets, competitors and business trends, and disseminate this knowledge across Glovo to inform key decisions.
  • Support in executing budget control initiatives that help optimize one of the biggest budgets at Glovo.
  • Track and analyze key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and cost savings for more than 22 countries throughout deeper understanding of Glovo's operations model.
  • Support with the monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans, including consolidation and reporting.
  • Support with special projects from risks assessments to potential forecast of any opportunities (e.g. competitors analysis, ROI of budget increase/reinvestment)
  • Analyze business performance and measure KPIs, identifying issues and potential improvement opportunities.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues (HQ, local and international teams) and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference within the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 1-2 years of experience in top-tier management consulting and/or corporate strategy/operations roles within tech marketplaces. Experience in the Gig economy business is a plus but not required.
  • Clear example of stakeholder management where you drive meaningful changes through projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative / numerical field
  • Strong analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis.
  • Proficient with Excel while applying strong analytical skills in the manipulation and understanding of data (minimum SQL knowledge is a plus)
  • Strategic thinking and planning, hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent skills in presenting and analyzing data and creating actionable reports.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in order to help achieve your goals.
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
