Reporting to the Head of Strategy, the Strategy Lead will define focused tactical and strategic agendas that enhance the business and work closely with internal stakeholders on all fronts of the business with a clear emphasis on key strategic priorities for Interac. You will make recommendations as it relates to emerging trends, market and competitive dynamics, growth opportunities, and business performance measurement in the development of the corporate strategy and management. You will use your drive and bias for results to handle complex and ambiguous topics to gain insight into the strategic issues that are at the forefront of the financial services industry.
You’ll be responsible for:
Develop and execute operational strategies to meet long-term business objectives.
Support strategic planning and board management processes.
Develop opportunity sizing, business cases, financial models and operational plans supporting strategic initiatives and new business opportunities for generating top-line business value.
Distill complex ideas into easy-to-understand messaging and developing collateral for socialization with internal and external stakeholders.
Champion strategic foresight via filtering and socializing of emerging trends, measurement and analysis of current execution and ecosystem insights.
Developing foresight scenarios, and connecting strategic foresight signals with strategy development and planning processes to ensure relevant strategy.
Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, track performance, and make informed decisions for improvement.
Guide and motivate teams, and communicate the company's vision and strategy effectively to stakeholders.
You bring:
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
A Bachelor’s degree and MBA (preferred, not required).
8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, chief of staff roles, including strategy development, planning. Execution and analysis.
Ability to interpret data, identify issues, and implement solutions.
Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and project management software.
Proven experience building and managing relationships with stakeholders and strategic partners.
Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate complex ideas and influence others.
High drive and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environments, delivering multi-dimensional projects and influencing business outcomes.
The ability to distill complex ideas into simple, digestible insights, connect the dots, adapt, and help accelerate execution.
