Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for a Strategic Deals Executive to drive the growth of our business for new logo deals.
You will oversee the end-to-end deal lifecycle, working across sales, solution and delivery teams to shape and close strategic opportunities. The ideal candidate is a dealmaker with strong business development and deal origination skills, exceptional negotiation skills, and an understanding of IT system modernization, service transformation, and application modernization and management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Deal Ownership: Lead the pursuit of 25-100+ million-dollar opportunities, from initial engagement, pursuit strategy, through contract closure
Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and client stakeholders to understand their business goals and align solutions
Solution Design Collaboration: Partner with technical, solution architecture, and delivery teams to develop customized proposals and ensure feasibility of solutions
Competitive Positioning: Develop win strategies by analyzing market dynamics, competitor positioning, and client needs
Commercial Structuring: Design pricing models and contract structures that balance client value with company profitability
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central point of coordination for internal teams involved in proposals, negotiations, and deal execution
Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations strategy and business conversation as needed.
Pipeline Management: Drive a robust pipeline of strategic deals and contribute to the overall growth strategy for the company.
Market Expertise: Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings in the cloud and application modernization, data and AI
Key Qualifications
10+ years in strategic sales, business development, ideally insystems integration, application services or IT services
Demonstrated success closing deals exceeding $25M in TCV (Total Contract Value)
Experience in complex sales process and internal/external stakeholder management
Deep understanding of application modernization, cloud adoption, and managed services
Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and legacy-to-modern application migrations
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven ability to develop and articulate value-driven proposals
Strong leadership and collaboration abilities in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
