Role Description
- Third Party Management (TPM), part of Deutsche Bank’s Global Procurement function, is responsible for the processes that manage risks related to the engagement of third-party vendors and outsourcing. TPM has been through a large-scale transformation program to change the approach, process and technology used for the vendor risk management process.
- This manager role supports the strategic delivery of transformation initiatives and regulatory compliance programs across Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Operational Resilience. The role will assist in programme planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, and data analysis to ensure successful execution of key initiatives, including those aligned with PRA, FCA, EBA, and DORA requirements.

Your key responsibilities
- Programme Coordination: Support the delivery of strategic initiatives across TPRM and Operational Resilience, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements (PRA, FCA, EBA, DORA).
- Regulatory Remediation Activities: Partner with business divisions to implement remediation plans for regulatory gaps, including uplift of contractual terms, ICT service identification, and register remediation.
- Risk & Resilience Integration: Contribute to the integration of third-party risk, supply chain and operational resilience frameworks into broader enterprise risk management practices.
- Execution Support: Manage workstream-level planning, tracking, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, KPIs, and risk outcomes.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (risk, compliance, legal, procurement, technology) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of programme components.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Support the development of dashboards, reports, and insights to inform decision-making and track programme performance.
- Governance Support: Prepare materials for steering committees, working groups, and regulatory updates; maintain programme documentation and risk logs.
- Change Enablement: Assist in embedding new processes, tools, and behaviours across the organisation to support resilience and risk transformation.
- Innovation & Automation: Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency through automation and digital tooling, including Power Apps and AI-enabled solutions.
Your skills and experience
Essential Skills
- 12+ years in financial services, with last 2–3 years in risk, resilience, or programme delivery roles.
- Solid understanding of Third-Party Risk Management frameworks, processes, and operating models.
- Familiarity with Operational Resilience, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., PRA SS2/21, FCA PS21/3, DORA).
- Experience supporting strategic or regulatory programmes within financial services, with a focus on third party risk or operational resilience.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data interpretation, risk reporting, and performance tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution and delivery tracking.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with contract remediation and managing ICT Register of Information reporting in line with DORA requirements.
- Familiarity with Critical and Important Functions (CIFs) and supply chain risk management.
- Exposure to regulatory change programmes or transformation initiatives.
- Experience with agile delivery models and structured change enablement.
