Strategic Deals Executive – Financial Services

Drive transformational growth in the Financial Services industry.

DXC Technology is seeking a high-impact Strategic Deals Executive to lead the pursuit and closure of high-value, new-logo deals with enterprise clients in the Financial Services sector. This senior role is pivotal to our growth strategy, overseeing the full deal lifecycle and collaborating across sales, solutioning, and delivery teams to shape and win complex, multi-tower opportunities.

We’re looking for a seasoned dealmaker with deep business development expertise, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of IT system modernization, service transformation, and application modernization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Deal Ownership: Lead the pursuit of $50M–$100M+ opportunities from initial engagement through to contract closure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and client stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
  • Solution Design Collaboration: Partner with technical, solution architecture, and delivery teams to develop tailored, feasible proposals.
  • Competitive Positioning: Craft winning strategies based on market dynamics, competitor insights, and client needs.
  • Commercial Structuring: Design pricing models and contract structures that deliver client value and maintain profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate internal teams across proposals, negotiations, and execution.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead strategic contract negotiations and business discussions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of strategic deals and contribute to DXC’s growth strategy.
  • Market Expertise: Stay ahead of trends in cloud, application modernization, data, and AI within the financial services domain.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years in strategic sales or business development, ideally in systems integration, application services, or IT services.
  • Proven success closing deals exceeding $50M in Total Contract Value (TCV).
  • Experience managing complex sales processes and stakeholder environments.
  • Deep understanding of financial services industry challenges, including regulatory compliance and digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and legacy-to-modern migrations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to craft and deliver compelling, value-driven proposals.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
